Saline Permanent Makeup Removal
What is it?
Saline Removal involves a specialized saline solution to lift and remove unwanted pigment from the skin. It is generally considered a safer and less invasive option than other removal methods like laser removal, making it a popular choice for those seeking to correct or remove their permanent makeup. Results can vary depending on factors such as depth of implanted pigment, and individual skin characteristics. It’s essential to do a consultation to determine if saline removal is suitable for your specific needs.
How does it work?
Saline Removal works by the process of Osmosis. Saline is made up of salt and water. The high salt concentration in the in the solution osmotically draws the ink particles to the skin’s surface, forming a scab. As the scab heals and falls off, it carries away some of the tattoo pigment. This can be repeated until the tattoo reaches the desired lightness.
Emergency Removal
If you have botched brows that were performed within the last 48 hours, you can have emergency removal with the saline solution, and it will remove most or all of the pigment. In some cases, if the brows are over 48 hours old, you may need additional sessions to achieve the lightening you desire.
